Kristy Jensen was born in Bountiful, UT and raised in Pocatello, ID. Her mother and father taught her the value of hard work. She began babysitting neighbor kids when she was 12, from there mowing lawns, then her first real job at 16 working as a bagger at Smith's. In Pocatello, she raised 3 lovely and hard working daughters.
When she was just 20 years of age, she general contracted her very first home, and from that point she was sold on houses. She went on to general contract 2 more homes followed by rehabbing several homes. She loved the way all the materials and contractors danced together to form something new and has been told on several occasions how crazy(... ok... the actual word was HOT,) it is to see a woman running a chop saw, using a measuring tape or a framing nailer (ask about the time she shot herself in the wrist!) Her motto at that time was "Do it right, or stay on the porch!" She did her best work at 100 miles an hour, was tenacious and in her older years has learned the value of slowing it down.
At the age of 30 she attended Idaho State University and 4 years later earned a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant and continued on a family tradition of assisting the elderly. 5 years later she went back to school and added massage therapy to her tool belt. Through the years she has grown in her abilities to relate, assist and care for individuals. She loves learning and taking on new challenges. There is not enough time in this life for her to accomplish all the desires of her heart.
She is excited to begin a new career in Real Estate, building on her former knowledge of houses and helping people. It has become Kristy's mission to inspire others to their highest potential and leave a lasting impact on her family, colleges, clients and community. In her spare time, she really enjoys writing about herself in the third person! Coldwell Banker Canyonside Realty firstname.lastname@example.org 208-909-9711
